Contrarian Collection

With my Fall collection I’m reflecting on the magic of nature. How simple things we pass each day can have supernatural meanings if we just open our eyes and see them. I’ve been so sick of technology and wanted to go back to something that always brought me joy.... Foraging. As a kid I loved picking up little things that caught my eye, putting them in my pocket and keeping them with me. I was sure that if I'd noticed it, it must be meant for me or at the very least have some deeper meaning. Maybe these little treasures could even bring me luck somehow. This collection was created from some of the things I found this year: rocks, shells, bits of fabric. I cast these found objects, hand-set them with mossy green peridots and sky blue sapphires, and created little gems for us to wear.
